PAUL JOHNSON

COMMITS TO NCAA D1 U.S. MILITARY ACADEMY

Congratulations to 2018 Attackman Paul Johnson on his recent commitment to play NCAA Division 1 Lacrosse at the United States Military Academy (Army – West Point). We are all thrilled to see Paul take on the challenge of pushing himself at the highest level possible to serve his country while participating in the sport that he loves. Paul follows older brother Cole Johnson, a current senior for the Black Knights, to West Point; and looks to make his own lasting impact with the program. The challenges that come with attending one of the most prestigious academic and physically demanding institutions in the country is something that inspired Paul throughout his recruiting process. “I’m incredibly excited to attend the United States Military Academy – West Point, and to put myself to the test. Army offers an incredible opportunity for me to excel as a person and a lacrosse player, and to serve my country. I would like to thank all of the Seattle Starz coaches, and especially Lewis Ratcliff, for all that they have done for me throughout my many years in the program. They have been an awesome support system helping me throughout my process, and always pushing me to be the best that I can. I’m very excited to see what the future has in store for me. Go Army!”

The team at Army will be welcoming a great person, and talented lacrosse player, to their program at West Point. “I’m proud to see Paul commit to attending Army – West Point. He is a dynamic player that processes a lot of lacrosse IQ, and is consistently a top producer within our program. More than that, Paul’s work ethic and character is unmatched by many at his age. This will serve him well at Army; and beyond in any future endeavor. It has been great to be able to work with Paul throughout his career with Seattle Starz. I am looking forward to seeing what he can accomplish down his future path with this great heading.” – Seattle Starz High School Director Lewis Ratcliff. Congrats Paul, and good luck!
