OWEN WALLACE COMMITS TO WHITTIER COLLEGE

Starz ’21 attacker, Owen Wallace, has committed to NCAA D3 Whittier College. Wallace, who has a 3.98 GPA, is the ASB Vice President at Snohomish HS. He has been a 3 year starter and captain for the varsity Panther’s boys lacrosse team. While competing for Starz, he was named a MadLax East Coast All-Star and MVP.

“Starz has given me the opportunity to play alongside and against some of the best competition in the country,” reflected Wallace.  “The program has grown me as a player and given me necessary exposure to make the next step in my lacrosse career. Starz is much more than just a lacrosse program, it gives kids the opportunity to travel the country and experience the world around them, and I am very grateful I was able to have this opportunity. While I am very thankful for the program making me a much better athlete and player, I am most thankful for the lifelong friendships I have created through this program. Thank you, Starz, and go Poets!”

“Congrats to Owen on his commitment to the admissions process at Whittier! Owen has always been an emotional and spiritual spark on our team, raising the level of passion, hustle, and fun at practices and during games,” said Pruitt.  “It is downright silly how hard this kid works, especially on the ride. That contagious energy, combined with his smarts and natural leadership ability, have made him a beloved member of our 2021 team and a no-doubt future success at Whittier and beyond. Congrats again to Owen and GO POETS!”
