Seattle Starz is happy to announce that 2018 defender Carter McDaniels has committed to play D1 lacrosse at the University of Utah. Currently a program in the process of making the jump to NCAA D1, the University of Utah is stocking up on highly talented players. Carter will have a great opportunity to make an impact right away on a team making the jump to that level, which is something not many other players in the country can say. Carter has spent his entire high school career with the Seattle Starz program; the result of his development and progression has led him to this point.

“I’m extremely excited to attend the University of Utah, and to contribute to the start of D1 lacrosse at the school. I’d like to give a huge thank you to the entire Seattle Starz family for everything they have done for me in the past years; including my coaches and teammates for always pushing me to be the best player possible, and making the recruiting process a lot of fun. Being fortunate enough to play Starz my entire high school career, I couldn’t ask for a better program and group of guys to help me achieve this goal. Go Utes!”-Carter McDaniels.
Carter is a physically demanding defender, and will look to use that aggressive and smart play at the next level. “I’m very happy for Carter on his commitment to play lacrosse at the University of Utah. Carter has worked hard throughout his lacrosse career to make this dream a reality. He has developed his game immensely over the past few years in order to be able to play at the next level. His size, aggressive style of play, and the pace at which he plays will help him right away at Utah. The chance to make an early impact will be a great opportunity for Carter, and I’m excited to see him contribute on the field.” – Lewis Ratcliff, Seattle Starz High School Director

Congrats Carter, we’ll see you on the field soon!
