DAXTON JENSEN COMMITS TO WESTMINSTER COLLEGE

Congrats to Starz ’21 attacker, Daxton Jensen, on his commitment to NCAA D2 Westminster College in Salt Lake City, UT. Dax has been a starter for the Glacier Peak varsity lacrosse team since his freshman year, a captain beginning his sophomore season, and a First Team All-Conference attacker. At the 2019 MDLX East Coast Fall Showcase he was named to the All-Star team. Jensen is also a member of the National Honors Society.

“Playing for Starz was an amazing experience for me,” said Jensen.  “Since I started playing Starz my skills have improved significantly, and the coaching that I received not only helped me grow as a player but a person as well. Playing Starz helped me realize what I wanted out of my college lacrosse experience and helped make the recruiting process so much easier. I would like to thank all of my coaches and my parents for helping me along the way and the Starz organization for getting me where I want to be. Go Griffins!”

“Congrats to Daxton on his commitment to Westminster! We are so excited for Dax as Westminster was at the top of his list of schools and is a perfect fit for him in the classroom, on the lacrosse field, and for his many goals in life,” stated Pruitt.  “Dax is a committed teammate, thoughtful friend, and fierce competitor whose open mind and sponge-like approach to learning the game made it easy for us to plug him in all over the field. It didn’t matter if he was playing attack or midfield – in either case, he forced opponents to respect his ability with both hands, his vision, and his physicality. I can’t wait to see those assets continue to grow with us this summer and eventually have an impact for Coach Goodhand’s program. Congrats again to Dax and GO GRIFFINS!”
