JAYME BRAIN COMMITS TO QUINCY UNIVERSITY

Congratulations to Starz ’20 attacker, Jayme Brain, on his recent commitment to NCAA D2 Quincy University. The Monroe HS senior has captained the Monroe Varsity team for two seasons and was named to the All-Wesco 1st team in 2019. Brain serves as the Sports Medicine Club president, came in 7th in the state at a CPR sports medicine competition and is also a member of ASB.

“Starz is where I got my first taste for how competitive this game can be. I still remember making the United team and how happy I was to be on it. Because of amazing coaching from Mike Pittas, he helped me make the jump to the Eilte team. I’ve also played on the Seattle Starz box team where many memories were made. All around Starz Lacrosse is by far the best program I’ve had the pleasure of playing for. Thank you again to Mike and all the coaches I’ve had in the past.”

“Congratulations to Jayme on his commitment to Quincy! Jayme has made his way to this great accomplishment through passion, hard work, and attentiveness. Starting the journey on the HS United team was not easy, but he persisted and never gave up his dream. By listening carefully to coaches and working hard on his game outside of practice, Jayme earned a spot on our 2020 Elite team where he was a staple at attack last summer. We could not be more proud of the enormous success Jayme has already achieved, and cannot wait to witness much more as he takes his game to the next level. GO HAWKS!”
