AUSTIN DUCOMMUN COMMITS TO TOWSON UNIVERSITY

Congratulations to Starz ’20 midfielder, Austin Ducommun, on his recent commitment to NCAA D1 Towson University. The New Westminster Secondary School senior has consistently been on the academic honour roll along with being a National All-Star Midfielder, named to the Minor Box Provincials first team and also the leader in all points for Canadian National.

“I am proud to announce that I will be continuing my academic and lacrosse career at Towson University! A big thank you to my family for supporting me through everything I do,” said Ducommun. “I would especially like to thank my mom who bought into the process and did everything she could to put me in the best position possible. I would also like to thank Coach Pace from Pacific Coast Lacrosse. Finally, I’d like to thank the Seattle Starz for helping to develop my skills in my younger years. Being from Canada it was an amazing experience to receive high level coaching from Coach Pruitt, as well as be accepted as a member of the team. Seattle Starz was a major part in my development as a lacrosse player and as a young man. I look forward to what the future has in store from me at Towson! Go Tigers!”

“Congrats to Austin on his commitment to Towson! Austin jumps off the page not only because of his size and downhill dodging ability, but also because of his positive attitude and contagious energy,” remarked Jack Pruitt. “Austin always balances his high-level execution and intensity with his approachable and kind demeanor off of the field. Austin brings a strong physical presence to our midfield and I am confident that he will find similar success under Coach Nadelen’s leadership at TU. Go Tigers!”
