Congratulations to Starz ’20 midfielder, Devon Pollard, on his recent commitment to NCAA D3 Aurora University. The Spartans had a very successful 2019 campaign, finishing with a 13-4 record overall (10-1 in conference) and appearing in the Midwest Lacrosse Conference (MLC) championship game.

“I am very thankful and appreciative to have the opportunity to become a D3 collegiate athlete at Aurora University,” expressed Pollard.  “I want to thank all my coaches that have impacted me in this long process: my father who has been my coach and mentor, my coaches at Graham Kapowsin High School, and also my Seattle Starz coaches, Jack and Rich. None of this would be possible without the early a.m. lifts and and extra motivation my parents gave to me to be the best and to never stray away from what was the best opportunity for me.”

“Congrats to Devon on his commitment to Aurora University! Devon is a coachable and hard working player who will bring size and speed to the Aurora program,” said Jack Pruitt.  “We are all excited to cheer him on as he continues his lacrosse journey in the college ranks!”
